The photo series Inner Islands brings the author's personal view of the concept of an island through a focus on the geological aspect and its impact on the landscape. Determined by growing up on an island, the author records fragments of three islands of Europe in the medium of photography. He sets the motifs of everyday life as a starting point for thinking about the intertwining of geology, landscape and island identities. Stone and its various forms of processing are the spread motifs within this series. They become a symbolic link between three European islands - Bornholm, Inishmaan and Vrnik from Denmark, Ireland and Croatia.
